1. Perform a standard hygienic manicure. Apply a base coat and two thin layers of colored gel polish. It is best to use gel polishes with strong residual dispersion (a tacky layer).
2. Transfer a pre-cut piece of foil from the roll in the jar onto the nail plate and thoroughly work each section of the surface with rubbing motions to fully transfer the metallic layer onto the nails.
3. Carefully remove the protective layer so as not to displace the foil or “smudge” the resulting pattern.
4. To finish, apply a thin layer (or two layers) of top coat and cure the design under a special lamp.

To make the design more wearable and practical, when fully covering the nail plate, leave a gap of a couple of millimeters from the edge of the nails.
